The assembly cut of Man of Tomorrow is complete
Man of Tomorrow’s post-production process still appears on track despite all the behind-the-scenes changes at Warner Bros. caused by the merger with Paramount. In fact, director James Gunn recently shared that Man of Tomorrow had passed an important post-production editing milestone.
The assembly cut of Man of Tomorrow is complete
On Threads, James Gunn was recently asked by user matthagen69 if the assembly cut for Man of Tomorrow was complete. Gunn quickly replied with a resounding “Yep!” giving a hint as to where the Superman sequel is currently in post-production. An assembly cut is the first draft of a film edit in which shots are laid out in order and the overall structure begins to take shape
In a visual effects-heavy film like Man of Tomorrow, there’s still a lot of work to do after the assembly cut stage beyond trimming unneeded footage. While this confirmation is a fairly minor update in the grand scheme of things, it’s still good to know that the movie’s post-production process remains on track amid all the major shake-ups at Warner Bros. Its merger with Paramount to create Skydance is imminent, and some major leadership changes are happening as a result.
Notably, Michael De Luca and Pamela Abdy, the co-CEOs of Warner Bros. Pictures who helped convince James Gunn and Peter Safran to spearhead DC Studios, are exiting the company. Thankfully for DC fans, Gunn and Safran will remain at the company after the merger. As such, it appears Gunn will see Man of Tomorrow’s production through to the end and is actively working on the movie.
Man of Tomorrow is still slated for release in theaters on July 9, 2027. The only other DC Studios movies with firm release dates are Clayface (out on Oct. 23), The Batman Part 2 (out Feb. 18, 2028), and Dynamic Duo (out Sept. 22, 2028).
PakarPBN
A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.
In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.
The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
